Join us for an exciting hands-on demonstration all about neuroscience.  Learn how nerve cells transmit electrical signals, and what can turn them on or off. We have teamed up with the Shafer Lab and Backyard Brains to bring some new ways to explore neurobiology with observation and experimentation.  We will be testing out some new experiments as well as bringing back some past favorites in this interactive program! Funded by the National Science Foundation.

Hands-on demonstrations are 20-30 minute interactive programs on the 2nd floor of the Museum. They include both brief presentations highlighting University research and engaging hands-on activities, and are suitable for adults and children ages 5 and up.
