Home School Series: Sensational Seed Dispersal

We will hike along the wetland paths and collect a variety of seeds such as acorns, exploding jewelweed, billowing milkweed, and barbed cocklebur just to name a few. Pre-registration is required.

We will discuss the main seed dispersal methods - water, wind, animal and mechanical and watch the dispersal of some seeds in action!
