Run Wild for the Detroit Zoo at the Detroit Zoo

Join thousands of runners and walkers as they lace up their running shoes for the annual Run Wild for the Detroit Zoo, sponsored by Ford Motor Company, on Sunday, September 10, 2017. The event includes 5K and 10K runs, the Too Wild! 5K+10K combo, plus a non-competitive 1.5-mile Fun Walk. Runners in the 5K and 10K events start at the Zoo’s 10 Mile Road entrance and wind through the scenic streets of Huntington Woods. Walkers follow a course past award-winning animal habitats as they stroll through Zoo grounds.

Run Wild for the Detroit Zoo raises critical funds for Ruth Roby Glancy Animal Health Complex and veterinary care for the animals at the Detroit Zoo.
Event takes place rain or shine. On Race Day, please plan to arrive early. 10 Mile will close for the 5K and 10K races, so expect heavy traffic.
