Spring Break Art Days offer a fun, creative, open environment to create and explore art and design using Cranbrook’s amazing collections! Each day focuses on a different theme and cross-disciplinary, hands-on projects! Ages 4 and 5 can join us for MINI Spring Break Art Days – half day camps where kids explore art and create hands-on projects from 9-11am.

Spend the day examining music in art! We’ll learn about rhythm, pattern, and artists who created their own musical instruments.

Travel back in time to explore artworks and techniques popular in eras past.

Create colorful, crazy artworks using fun found materials. Inspired by artists working with unconventional mediums and styles.

Explore modern design concepts, the importance of form + function, build and create your own prototypes!

Spend the day creating with fabric and yarn! Learn techniques like weaving, tinting, and pom-pom making!
