Spring Break Art Days at the Cranbrook

Each workshop draws inspiration from the Museum's collection. Students go into the Museum Vaults to see artwork firsthand. Teaching artists from Cranbrook Academy of Art guide students as they create and explore art, architecture, and design using Cranbrook's amazing collections! All art supplies and materials are included with program registration. Students must bring a lunch. Limited need-based scholarships are available.
MENAGERIE MONDAY – APRIL 3
Let your creativity run wild exploring textures and colors of animals in artworks!
TRAVEL TUESDAY – APRIL 4
Look at artwork with subject matter near and far. Travel around the world without leaving the museum!
WEAR IT WEDNESDAY – APRIL 5
Learn from costume in the collection and make your own wearable masterpieces!
THEATRICAL THURSDAY – APRIL 6
Create puppets and write stories based on objects on the collection!
FOODIE FRIDAY – APRIL 7
Spend the day painting, sculpting and printing, all inspired by food!
