Music from the ‘20s and ‘30s will have you dancing in the aisles as the Michigan Phil is joined by the great jazz guitarist, Mimi Fox on April 18, 2020. Described as a “consummate improviser who seizes the imagination of her listeners with her passion, soul, and an unerring ear for beauty,” Mimi Fox brings her artistry to the stage with the orchestra for a stunning evening of jazz. A night of Gershwin, Cole Porter, Irving Berlin, and more will delight as music from the jazz age showcases the orchestra’s versatility, spirit, and energy.
