On Wednesday, July 10 at 7:00 pm, join NASA educator and Cranbrook astronomer, Michael Foerster, as he covers the history of humans’ journey to space and the future of space exploration.

Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.

This session covers the small steps before the “giant leap for mankind”: the first rockets, first astronauts, first triumphs, and first tragedies. After the presentation, we will join local astronomers outside (weather permitting), who will share their telescopes to show off the moon and planets! For ages 9 and up.

Program registration is requested. Visit ropl.org or call the Youth Reference Desk at 248-246-3725 to sign up for this free program.
