Apple Scouts Nature Immersion Camp

*The event has already taken place on this date: Fri, 08/17/2018
Apple Scouts spend our days hiking local trails, discovering what nature has to offer. From basic wilderness skills to identifying local flora and fauna, Apple Scouts learn how to be exceptional environmental stewards.

Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.

Inspired by the movement to "rewild" childhood, Apple Scouts was created to provide greater opportunities for children to connect with nature. Children spend full days hiking, tracking, mapping, reading, and building structures all while exploring the rich surroundings offered by local preserves, woods, and trails. They develop close bonds with their counselors and fellow campers, while developing lifelong skills for engaging with the elements of nature.
