Name of Program: Bioblitz Kick-Off

Location: Park in the main parking area and meet at the trail sign.
Info about Program: Become a citizen scientist! Crosswinds Marsh is partnering with Michigan State University on the 2023 MSU Science Festival BioBlitz. During this kick-off event we will learn how to add observations to a large citizen science project. No previous identifying experience is necessary. Download the iNaturalist app to your phone for reporting observations. No refunds, if it is canceled by Wayne County Parks, we will add a credit to your account for a future program.

Additional Park Information:
We are very excited to announce that a restroom building will be constructed at Crosswinds Marsh by late 2023.
Construction activities are taking place in several locations near the park entrance. A portion of the road around the parking lot of Crosswinds Marsh is closed. Please be cautious on the open portion of this road, as it serves as the only way for vehicles to enter and leave the parking lot.
We appreciate your patience and understanding during this time. We look forward to celebrating a new restroom building for our park visitors in late 2023!
