A Celebration of Courage With the Michigan Philharmonic

Big sounds, great partnerships, and wonderful music are the hallmarks of this heartfelt celebration on November 8, 2019. The 100th Anniversary of Veterans Day is a milestone the Michigan Phil is proud to commemorate with a selection of works from patriotic tunes to the classical renditions of Ives, Ravel, and John Williams.

Special guests include composer Linda Robbins Coleman for a performance of her work, Elegy for the Greatest Generation, and the choirs of First United Methodist Church and Madonna University, joining the orchestra for a celebratory finale which will bring you to your feet!
