Big sounds, great partnerships, and wonderful music are the hallmarks of this heartfelt celebration on November 8, 2019. The 100th Anniversary of Veterans Day is a milestone the Michigan Phil is proud to commemorate with a selection of works from patriotic tunes to the classical renditions of Ives, Ravel, and John Williams.

Special guests include composer Linda Robbins Coleman for a performance of her workElegy for the Greatest Generation, and the choirs of First United Methodist Church and Madonna University, joining the orchestra for a celebratory finale which will bring you to your feet!
