Kids Capoeira Class

Bring your little ones to the studio for some Brazilian beats! Capoeira is a Brazilian martial art that combines elements of acrobatics, music, and dance, and it’s a blast for kids ages 4-10. Kids get to enjoy drumming, dancing, running around, and martial arts practice forms with a large group of their peers while parents and younger siblings are welcome to join in the fun from the sidelines, singing songs and shouting encouragement. There’s nothing else quite like it in Ann Arbor! Instructor Contra Mestre Lobhino guides kids through a variety of exercises and group activities, adding some Portuguese language skills along the way.
