Name of Program: Marsh Clean-Up
Date and Time: Saturday, April 1, 2023, 1:00PM-3:00PM
Location: Park in the main parking area and meet at the canoe sheds.
Info about Program: Paddle through the marsh while cleaning it at the same time. We’ll provide everything you need to remove the litter that pollutes our waterway and puts wildlife in danger. A small prize will be awarded to those who pull out the most litter! Children under 12 years must have an adult in the canoe. We have 7 available canoes. Canoes, paddles, and life jackets are provided. Max per canoe is 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children (12 years old and younger). Must have at least two people per canoe. Canoe maximum weight capacity is 570 pounds. Canoe waivers must be signed for all persons in the boat. No refunds, if it is canceled by Wayne County Parks, we will add a credit to your account for a future program.

Additional Park Information:
We are very excited to announce that a restroom building will be constructed at Crosswinds Marsh by late 2023.
Construction activities are taking place in several locations near the park entrance. A portion of the road around the parking lot of Crosswinds Marsh is closed. Please be cautious on the open portion of this road, as it serves as the only way for vehicles to enter and leave the parking lot.
We appreciate your patience and understanding during this time. We look forward to celebrating a new restroom building for our park visitors in late 2023!
