YPT: Theater by young people for people of all ages!
So professionally presented that you will experience the thrill of watching a Broadway production… Right here in Ann Arbor!

Stop the presses! Based on the real-life Newsboy Strike of 1899, Newsies is the story of a ragtag team of newsboys who make a meager living selling newspapers on New York’s streets. But when the prices of papers are hiked by publishing giant Joseph Pulitzer and the newsies are hung out to dry, the newsies have to “seize the day!” Led by inspirational Jack, intelligent Davey, and independent Katherine, the newsies form a union and organize a strike with the hope of making their world better.
