Outdoor Recreation Sampler

Fun and excitement await at the Nature Center's Outdoor Recreation Sampler Camp. Outdoor recreation promotes physical and mental health, life skills, and appreciation of nature. Campers will sample a variety of outdoor activities which may include hiking, canoeing, fishing, river walks, archery, geocaching, disc golf, nature investigation, backyard games, wilderness skills, and team building.

Fun and excitement await at the Nature Center's Outdoor Recreation Sampler Camp. Outdoor recreation promotes physical and mental health, life skills, and appreciation of nature. Campers will sample a variety of outdoor activities which may include hiking, canoeing, fishing, river walks, archery, geocaching, disc golf, nature investigation, backyard games, wilderness skills, and team building. Some activities may take place off-site. Information about possible field trips will be communicated closer to camp. There is an optional evening campfire and night hike program on Thursday after camp. Kids should be prepared to be outside all day and dress for adventure!
