Director Barbara Bloom said this:

This doo-wopping play with toe tappin’ songs and dance features four kids who are in charge of “Zombie Night,” the annual class Halloween party.  They locate an abandoned farmhouse by an old graveyard, once occupied by the creepy, crawly Dr. Thanatos. Two girls show up, determined to destroy the party.  (They’re sore losers who wanted a sock hop instead.)  Enter a grim farmer who warns the kids that it’s dangerous to stay.  The spoof races to a spine-chilling and hilarious finale!

Spotlight on Youth (SOY) exists to create an extraordinary youth centered theater experience and to advance theater as a means of educating, challenging and inspiring. SOY at the Village Theater seeks to create programs and activities that will celebrate diverse art forms, ideas and cultures.
