Porcupine Camp - Grades 4 - 6

Who's predator and who's prey? Which animals are both - and what does that mean for their behavior? We'll go in depth on what you can learn from food webs, and practice assembling them in a variety of ecosystems!

This camp is for the animal lover who wants to really understand the science of the animal world. During the week, campers will meet and learn about over 60 species of animal including both vertebrates and invertebrates.
New in 2020! Two different sessions of Zoo Camp for fourth through sixth graders will be offered! Porcupine Camp and Cougar Camp will feature distinct activities, games, and animal visitors.
There is an optional extended evening experience on Thursday night to spend some time observing our nocturnal animals! Sign-up for the extended evening stay is available on the first day of your camp. Fee of $25 applies ($15 for those registered in Camp After Hours).
