Professor Ray's Everyday Science: Mind Over Matter
*The event has already taken place on this date: Sun, 07/07/2019
Well, what’s the matter? We’ve got states! States of matter, that is. Join us as we learn about the physics of the universe as we start our July Reach for the Moon series leading up to Apollo 11 launch day! Today we’ll explore the three states of matter—solids and liquids and gases —in all sorts of crazy ways. We’ll see gas in solid form, watch as liquid expands 700 hundred times to produce explosive consequences, and figure out how cold matter can get! Interactive demos included with admission at 1:00 and 3:00 in the Legacy Gallery.
