Raising Monarchs 101

Beautiful orange and black monarch butterflies are a common sight in the summer and fall. However, did you know less than 10% of monarch eggs survive to become butterflies? There are many ways to help monarchs, from planting milkweed to raising them in your home! Come learn some basics of the monarch butterfly and how to raise them. Ages 8 and up. Please preregister 586-463-4332.

A Metroparks vehicle entry permit is required to enter any Metropark and is only $35 annually for regular admission, $24 annually for seniors or $10 daily.
