Summer Reading Program Opening Day with Royal Oak Public Library

The 2021 Summer Reading Program begins with Opening Day activities on Saturday, June 19, 10:00 am -12:00 noon in Royal Oak’s Starr Jaycee Park!

Children of all ages are welcome to see live animals, enjoy music, train rides, and much more in the park. Everyone is invited to participate a variety of free events during the six-week reading program. Patrons may also register for programs in-person during Opening Day. Online or phone registration begins June 21.
No registration is necessary for Opening Day. Visit ropl.org or call the Youth Reference Desk at 248-246-3725 for more information.
