Twilight Bat Hike | Kids Out and About Ann Arbor / Detroit

Twilight Bat Hike

*The event has already taken place on this date: Fri, 08/23/2019
They’re mysterious and spooky, but altogether helpful! Join us as we demystify the ways bats can help strengthen the community. We will start in the lab for a quick talk on what distinguishes bats from other mammals and why their ability to fly is so special. Next, we’ll move on to a twilight hike for the opportunity to search for our flighted-friends in the Environmental Discovery Center’s own backyard. Ages 10 and up. Please preregister, (248) 625-7280.

A Metroparks vehicle entry permit is required to enter any Metropark and is only $35 annually for regular admission, $24 annually for seniors or $10 daily.

*Times, dates, and prices of any activity posted to our calendars are subject to change. Please be sure to click through directly to the organization’s website to verify.
