Summer Solstice Celebration at the Hands On Museum

Come Fly Into Summer with our Summer Solstice celebration! Learn about astronomy, physics and our solar system through fun hands-on activities where you can launch rockets, make your own pocket solar system, and even observe the sun! Raising Monarchs 101

Beautiful orange and black monarch butterflies are a common sight in the summer and fall. However, did you know less than 10% of monarch eggs survive to become butterflies? There are many ways to help monarchs, from planting milkweed to raising them in your home! Come learn some basics of the monarch butterfly and how to raise them. Ages 8 and up.
