Ice & Snow Fest - Edsel & Eleanor Ford House

Let it snow! Come to Ford House for a day of fun and engaging winter activities. Our grounds are the perfect place to get out and enjoy the season. Try snowshoeing, discover the beauty of snowflakes, listen to winter tales, and learn about how changes in our climate impact the Great Lakes in the winter. It’s a perfect wintry mix of learning and fun for all ages. Admission is $5, and kids 3 and under are free. Dress for the weather! This program is mostly outdoors. Masks are required when indoors. Treat yourself to snacks and warm beverages from our concession stand or The Speedster quick service counter inside the visitor center. This is an outdoor-only experience, so dress for the weather. It is a 3/4 mile path, and includes gravel walkways and uneven terrain. We will hold Starry Lights rain, snow, or shine unless there is inclement weather. No refunds or exchanges unless Ford House calls for cancellation due to inclement weather.

Pets & Pajamas Movie Night - Humane Society of Huron Valley

What could be more fun than spending your Friday night with our furry friends at HSHV? This paw-tastic event is appropriate for ages 5 to 11 and includes adoptable animal interactions, a vegetarian dinner and an animal-themed movie with popcorn! Children are invited to wear their pajamas, bring a sleeping bag and pillow and be ready for some animal-themed fun while parents enjoy a night to themselves! The cost is $40 for the first child, and $20 for up to two additional siblings. We’re sorry – but we are unable to accommodate groups of 5 or more kids.

Winter at Valade Park

Valade Park will be the go-to destination on the riverfront this winter. Each weekend, starting December 10th, visitors can warm up by oversized outdoor fires, enjoy hot seasonal alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, make s'mores on our custom marshmallow roasters, grab a sled from the Sled Shed (featuring free sleds when it snows), play synthetic ice curling and more.
