Camp SkyWild Summer 2024 for Kids with Autism and their Siblings

Our programs have been designed to meet a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and cognitive needs because we believe that summer camp is a valuable experience for everyone. We appreciate the diversity of background, ability, health needs, and home lives of our campers and our staff and strive everyday to make camp a safe environment in which our campers can laugh, learn, and play. We believe that all kids shine brighter when they build lasting friendships and feel like they belong to a community that sees them as more than the challenges they face.

SkyWild campers zip line, shoot archery, go canoeing, climb the rock wall, tie dye t-shirts, go fishing, roast smores, sing, dance, swim in the lake, and so much more! We understand that each camper needs unique support in order to access our program, so we run extensive staff training, operate flexible programming, and maintain low staff ratios. Our daily schedule is highly structured and predictable to ease camper anxiety around what's coming next, but remains adaptable in a "challenge by choice" nature so that campers can engage in the ways that feel best for them.

At Camp SkyWild, our focus is on fun and connection. Campers have an incredible time because the activities are tailored towards their interests and adjusted to their needs. Our staff are skilled in facilitating relationship building , and they support and encourage kids while they try new things. Summer camp can be formative, and we want all kids to experience the benefits of an incredible week with friends!
