Are you looking for an alternative to computer-based activities for your 4- and 5-year-olds? Look no further!
An experienced certified art teacher, Sasha encourages creative and critical thinking skills through artmaking. She will teach your child the fundamentals of drawing and painting with mixed media while keeping the joy of self-expression in mind. Each class encourages students' creativity while learning about color, value, composition, and more. Students will build on skills learned each week to create a landscape, still life, famous artist-inspired composition, and nature art pieces. New topics are introduced in each session. Oh, and yes - this is mostly about creating art for the joy and fun of it - because that is what really makes the world go around. The cost is $15 per session.
