County Oakland Irish Fest

The Annual County Oakland Irish Fest will bring fun for all ages to downtown Berkley while celebrating Celtic culture. The music festival and street fair with an Irish Twist will take place between on 12 Mile Rd. between Kipling and Tyler roads. Music will happen on two stages along with Irish dancers and pipers. There will be again a children’s craft and game area, caricaturists, face painters and Men’s Best Legs in a Kilt contest. An Irish history tent will be available to learn more about the heritage. There will be an adventure with a scavenger hunt for the public to try to locate the many faeries living at the faerie doors at the various Berkley businesses. Pirates, leprechauns, Stormtroopers in Kilts, fairies and Santa too will be walking around the festival. Great shopping all day at the local shops and the many street vendors with only 109 Days left until Christmas. Children’s area and some of the vendors close at 6 pm with music and beer tent continuing until 11:30 pm. Visit CountyOaklandIrishFest.org for more information.

New this year on Saturday will be a 2nd beer tent on 12 Mile Road near the West stage (between Gardner and Tyler). Music will happen on two stages along with Irish dancers and pipers. There will be again a children’s craft and game area, caricaturists, face painters and Men’s Best Legs in a Kilt contest. An Irish history tent will be available to learn more about the heritage.
