Elf Jr. the Musical is coming to the Plymouth Arts and Recreation Complex (PARC) in Plymouth, Michigan November 9th-12th 2017.
Begin the Christmas season with Forever After Productions as they present the fun, family friendly, feel good show - Elf Jr at The Playhouse at the PARC in Plymouth, MI. Performances are held on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings at 7:00 pm, with a 2:00pm matinee on Saturday and performances at 1:00pm and 5:00pm on Sunday. The cast is comprised of over 40 talented young actors from Plymouth, Canton, and surrounding communities.
Based on the cherished 2003 New Line Cinema hit, Elf Jr. features songs by Tony Award nominees, Matthew Sklar and Chad Beguelin, with a book by Tony Award winners Thomas Meehan and Bob Martin. Buddy, a young orphan, mistakenly crawls into Santa’s bag of gifts and is transported to the North Pole. The would-be elf is raised, unaware that he is actually a human, until his enormous size and poor toy-making abilities cause him to face the truth. With Santa’s permission, Buddy embarks on a journey to New York City to find his birth father and discover his true identity. Faced with the harsh reality that his father is on the naughty list and that his half-brother doesn’t believe in Santa, Buddy is determined to win over his new family and help New York remember the true meaning of Christmas.

New songs such as “SparkleJollyTwinkleJingley” and “There is a Santa Claus” are sure to keep you dancing in your seats. This modern-day holiday classic features performers ages 6-18 through a condensed version of this new musical. “These kids can’t wait to perform their show” says Mary Anne Martin, Music Director, “They have been hard at work since the summer preparing!” From colorful costumes, amazing sets, fun energetic choreography and wonderful kids....you don’t want to miss this show!
General admission tickets are $10 and are currently on sale for all 6 performances November 9th through 12th , Thursday at 7pm, Friday at 7pm, Saturday at 2pm & 7pm, and Sunday at 1pm & 5pm.
