The 2024–2025 concert season “Elemental Forces” continues with a musical exploration of speed. The impetus of the evening will be propelled by the world premiere of Mach 1 by Daniel Kim, winner of the WCCB’s Young Michigan Composers Concert Band Composition Contest. The momentum will build during the performance of Concerto for Piano, Winds, and Percussion composed by band member and Assistant Conductor James Wagner. Your pulse may accelerate as the evening flies by with music from composers Kevin Day, Leroy Anderson, Jodie Blackshaw, and others. Free parking and admission.
