Home School Thursdays: Frogs, Ferns, and Feathers

Spring abounds, and the outdoors is our classroom! We will catch (and release) frogs, look on the trail for ferns and wildflowers, and observe birds with binoculars in hand.

Location:  Nankin Mills (red barn on site) 33175 Ann Arbor Trail, Westland 48185

Info about Program:  Spring abounds, and the outdoors is our classroom!  We will catch (and release) frogs, look on the trail for ferns and wildflowers, and observe birds with binoculars in hand. 

Note: parts of the trail are an uneven and can be muddy.  The barn is not heated, so please dress warmly.  If barricades are up at Hines and Ann Arbor Trail for flooding, you may go around the barricades at this intersection only to park in our Hines Drive parking lot. 

Registration Start:  March 17

Registration End:  April 26, 4:00 PM

Fee:  $6 per student, adults are free

Ages:  five and older, trail is not stroller friendly

Limit:  30 students
