Junior Naturalist: Fire & Shelter

Learn how to build a campfire with only materials you find in nature. Fire lays, tinder bundles and kindling will all be demonstrated and practiced. Learn the rule of 3’s and how they relate to fires and forts. Then enjoy a peaceful afternoon learning and implementing primitive skills like debris hut building. Meet at the beach pavilion. Led by Elle Bogle. For ages 7-12, Vehicle entry fee required. Pre-registration is required, maximum of 12 children. Pre-registration is required - 12 children maximum.
