Maple Tree Tapping
*The event has already taken place on this date: Sat, 02/20/2016
A sure remedy for cabin fever is to hike to the "sugar bush,"
where the sugar maples and black maples grow, to "tap" into
last summer's liquid sunshine stored within.
Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.
We'll use handturned augers to drill holes in the trees, and spend some time getting to know more about how to identify just the right trees for tapping. Dress for the weather and plan to enjoy a dose of spring! All ages welcome
