Maybury Farm camps run from June 20 through August 18. Farm Campers attend camp on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 9a-4p daily. With over 100 farm animals of various breeds and varieties, a large farm garden filled with delicious vegetables and flowers, trails through forests and fields and plenty of green space to play and learn, Maybury Farm Camp has something for every camper Ages 6-12 who attend. Campers are given the opportunity and responsibility to help feed and care for the farm animals and farm garden. While doing so, they learn about how these important resources provide the food and fiber they use every day. Hikes along the trail lead to discoveries about the many trees, plants and crops that make up Michigan habitats. Group games and farmyard chores help campers develop teamwork and leadership skills. Time is balanced between structured learning, and free time to form friendships, while educational crafts encourage creative and imaginative play. Maybury Farm is a state licensed camp.
