With artifact explorations, hands-on experiments, behind-the-scenes adventures and more, a unique and immersive experience awaits young minds. Campers in grades 2-7 learn from innovators and inventions of the past by exploring Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village.

Camp Descriptions

Superheroes (for entering 2nd graders): Soar into a world of innovation where ordinary people can do extraordinary things. By learning and practicing their own innovation skills, campers will unleash their new superpowers to shape their world.

Movers (for entering 3rd graders): Spring into motion to uncover how innovation keeps us moving. Exploring planes, trains, automobiles and more will inspire campers to imagine the possibilities of a future on the move.

Explorers (for entering 4th graders)Leap into a week of adventure and investigate the world around us. Exploring our environment will spark curiosity as campers uncover how humans throughout history have used the resources that shape our world.

Growers (for entering 5th graders)Embark on a hands-on exploration of the journey from seed to plate. Campers will cultivate a lifelong appreciation for the flavors and stories behind the food we love.

Makers (for entering 6th graders): Channel the spirit of makers as we tinker and hack our way through history. During collaborative challenges and exciting projects, campers will explore new ideas and discover their own ingenuity.

Dreamers (for entering 7th graders): Find your own creative voice by going hands-on with different art mediums to learn how artists positively impact our lives and history. Empowered campers will uncover their own inspiration and become change-makers for the future.
