Civic Arena has had a Learn to Skate Program for over 40 years. We've had students who have excelled and continued skating well into their adulthood skating for Team USA, Junior Teams, and College Hockey Programs. We offer skating lessons for individuals who are just wanting to learn how to skate for fun, skaters who want to be on a hockey team, skaters who want to go the figure skating route, and also Special Olympics route.

Our Tiny Tot Classes are for anyone ages 3-6 years old. In these classes we are learning how to get comfortable falling and standing up, learning forward skating, backward skating, and learning how to stop.

Our Youth Classes Basic 1-6 is Learning all of the Basic Skills you need before deciding which skating route you want to take.

Youth Freestyle Classes are Figure Skating Skills - Learning how to jump and spin, along with harder skating skills which includes footwork.

Our Hockey classes focuses on skating skills only. Even if you're already on a Hockey Team its always good to go back and practice the basics of skating!

Our Adult classes go from Adult 1-Adult 6. We have adults who have never skated before and adults learning axels. It is never too late to learn how to Ice Skate!

Our Adaptive Skating Program is our Newest Program - The U.S. Figure Skating Adaptive Program offers recreational and competitive avenues for skaters with physical and intellectual disabilities. Through skating and artistic skill development, skaters will construct a foundation to build success on and off the ice. This program is for 3 years old and up.
