Hands-on Science and History Museum, featuring the Discovery Gallery and Maker Space, History Gallery, Vehicle City Gallery, Early Childhood interactive gallery; multi-purpose room adjacent to Early Childhood gallery for private parties, etc. The Sloan Museum of Discovery will open July 16, 2022. Until then, the temporary exhibit space is located at the Courtland Center mall in Burton, MI, with vintage cars, children's play area, and the traveling exhibit Hot Wheels: Race To Win! from February 5-May 15, 2022. Hot Wheels: Race To Win! will be the final traveling exhibit at the temporary museum space. The new museum will open July 16, 2022 in the Flint Cultural Center, Flint, MI

The current traveling hands-on, interactive exhibit at Sloan Museum's temporary exhibit space is Hot Wheels: Race to Win, at Courtland Center February 5 - May 15, 2022.  Speed, power, performance... Buckle up and race with the most famous toy vehicles on the planet—Hot Wheels! Be part of a dynamic race team working together to build and test the world’s fastest (and safest) speed machines, using Hot Wheels® diecast cars to experiment and play. This behind-the-scenes look at the thrilling world of racing investigates the scientific process for designing super-fast cars. Hands-on experiences, authentic race gear, and captivating memorabilia will engage families in the process of experimenting with speed, power, and performance using Hot Wheels cars and track as the their tools.
