The Washtenaw Farm Council Grounds is the largest Event Center in Washtenaw County with over 55,000 Sq. Ft. of rentable space. This Event Center is home to the Washtenaw County 4-H Youth Show, the Home, Garden & Lifestyle Show, The Saline Community Fair, Fiber Expo, Huron Gun Collectors Gun Shows, Wedding Receptions, Company Parties and many other events throughout the year. Nearly every weekend there is a variety of events that are open to the public.

The Washtenaw Farm Council purchased the Farm Council Grounds in 1955 to provide a place to hold the Washtenaw County 4-H Youth Show each year. Over time many amenities were added, buildings improved, and the Grounds began to be a place to go to hold events. Many of the events have been holding their events at the grounds for many years, reserving their dates each year to insure they were recognized and could be found each year. The Farm Council is organized as a 501c5 organization and while its mission is “To promote and advance the interest of agriculture, horticulture, household arts and mechanic arts and sciences, and all kindred sciences and arts in their varied branches; to promote and conduct agricultural, industrial, educational and recreational fairs and exhibitions, and to provide entertainment and amusement therewith for the purpose of drawing the attention of the public thereto” it has become the place in Washtenaw County to hold your event.
