ShowBiz Kidz is a theatrical training school for children ages 4 to 12 years old founded in 1997 by Artistic Director, Carol-Ann Black to expose children to the performing arts.  Our motto is "Where every kidz' a star" and we live up to that motto by challenging each student and highlighting their unique talents.  We operate year-round and typically produce three shows a year:  two musicals and one straight play.  We also offer summer classes through Camp ShowBiz.ShowBiz Starz is a theatrical training school for teens ages 13 to 18 founded in 2000.  Our motto is "Training the Starz of tomorrow" and we put emphasis on a classical training background by producing one Shakespeare production a year.  In 2011, ShowBiz Starz student, Melissa Murphy, won the Michigan Shakespeare Festival High School Monologue competition and in 2013 our Camp ShowBiz "Brush Up Your Shakespeare" class will perform at the Michigan Renaissance Festival in Holly, MI.Both groups put an emphasis on a disciplined, nurturing and positive environement where our students can take risks and step outside of their comfort zonesOur home base is Trillium Academy's Royal Majestic Theater (15740 Racho Road, between Eureka and Pennsylvania Roads in Taylor, MI).
