Our camp program involves humane education lessons on many topics depending on the session and age group. Some past topics have been pet photography, animal communication, bird identification and wildlife conservation. Participants will also visit with adoptable animals each day, provide enrichment and training with shelter animals and enjoy presentations from local rescue organizations.

The Ann Arbor JCC's Camp Raanana is a summer day camp for children entering Young Fives, all the way up through 8th grade. Operating at Cedar Lake in Chelsea, campers will have the opportunity to participate in a wide range of fun outdoor activities, including swimming, boating, sports, arts and crafts, and so much more!

 Foundations Classical Academy |
The purpose of this live ONLINE course is to spark pre-teen/early teenage students' interest in reading classic books and to teach them to engage in Socratic discussion about themes, characters, plot, etc. We will also focus on history related to the stories. Our summer 2025 readings are selections from Homer’s The Iliad and The Odyssey. The cost is $150 for 22.5 hours of instruction June 16-Aug. 13, 2025.

Our Clay Camp curriculum is designed to teach pottery skills and to encourage the exploration of clay as a material for design, sculpture, and expression. They'll visit gyms, earn badges, go on treasure hunts, and even engage in a battle or two. With the help of their ally STEAMaroo, a clever and friendly kangaroo islandmon, our STEAM Teams will tackle an island full of engineering challenges as they evolve into true STEAM Champions. Ready? Farm Camp is a four-day camp (Tues-Fri) filled with exciting experiences designed to engage and educate campers on all things farming! Held entirely outdoors, campers will not only totally unplug, but will get their hands dirty. They will enjoy learning about the care and function of animals while helping in the barn, and will learn about the cycle of planting, growing and harvesting while helping out in the Farm Garden.

This camp is perfect for future content creators to learn the skills that will push their videos to the top. Campers will learn to use digital cameras, how to edit audio, video, and produce content that is not just unique but interesting for their audience.

In this all-new camp, students will work in small STEAM Teams to mix up new slime classics based on children's stories like Alice's Unbirthday Cake Slime, Charlie's Everlasting Gobstopper Slime, Percy's Blue Cookie Slime, Narnia's Turkish Delight Slime and STEAMwarts Butter Beer Slime. In addition to making two slimes a day, every camper will also receive a copy of our book Surprise at Blow Cart Beach: A Challenge Island STEAM Adventure, which is filled with slimy science and treasures.
