In this live online course, we improve our print and cursive handwriting through reading and writing about people and events from American history as well as drawing them. Why drawing? Drawing develops some of the same muscle groups used for handwriting. It's also lots of fun! Recommended for ages 11-18. An ADULT SECTION is also available (meeting time is different. Camp is Monday - Friday from 9 am - 3 pm during the scheduled dates. Focused on data analysis and quick decision-making, campers will learn to maneuver through drone obstacle courses using the Python 3 programming language. The relationship between software and hardware becomes apparent as campers code solutions to the limitations of their environments and toolsets. With a solid foundation in Python 3, campers will be able to plot their course, code, and take off! |

In this all-new camp, students will work in small STEAM Teams to mix up new slime classics based on children's stories like Alice's Unbirthday Cake Slime, Charlie's Everlasting Gobstopper Slime, Percy's Blue Cookie Slime, Narnia's Turkish Delight Slime and STEAMwarts Butter Beer Slime. In addition to making two slimes a day, every camper will also receive a copy of our book Surprise at Blow Cart Beach: A Challenge Island STEAM Adventure, which is filled with slimy science and treasures. ![]() |
